Granville<\/h2>\n

A fortified town with France’s leading shellfish port<\/strong>, Granville<\/a> is a pleasant place to stroll around and admire its ramparts. Stroll through the Vall\u00e9e des peintres<\/strong>. It’s the promise of a beautiful artistic and bucolic escapade. And if you’re a big fan of haute couture, don’t miss the Christian Dior Museum<\/strong><\/a>. You’ll enjoy discovering the house where the fashion designer grew up, and you’ll have your eyes filled with glitter as you look at some of his magnificent gowns. <\/p>\n

The islands: Chausey, Jersey, Guernsey, Tatihou<\/h2>\n

On the wild neighboring island of Jersey<\/a>, you’ll find magnificent panoramas and charming villages. A little further south is the island of Chausey, with its exceptional biodiversity, heavenly beaches and authentic fishing village. Finally, the island of Tatihou is a nirvana for birdwatchers. Every year, millions of visitors come to these beaches, which are steeped in history and emotion. They remind us all of the sacrifices made on June 6, 1944 to liberate France.
