At Omaha Beach Golf Course – the only 36-hole course in the western region – the names of American veterans are present at every step.
The 18-hole Mer course offers breathtaking views of Arromanches and the village of Port-en-Bessin.
The 18-hole Manoir course immerses you in the Norman bocage, between ponds and apple trees.
Beginners and experienced players have access to the greens, clubhouse, and driving range by reservation.
In high season, expect to pay €90 for an 18-hole green fee and €60 for a 9-hole course.
Caen Garcelles Golf Course
Enjoy a visit to Caen Castle for a few putts on one of the two courses at Caen-Garcelles Golf Course, an hour’s drive from the campsite.
Spanning nearly 6 kilometers, the varied layout of the “Clos Neuf et Bois” course takes you through its 18 holes.
The 9-hole “Parc” course appeals to players of all levels and can be completed in 1.5 hours.
You can opt for an 18-hole green fee at €64/player, a 9-hole round at €44 on the Clos Neuf, or a 9-hole course at €29 at the Parc. Interesting Discovery or Initiation packages are also available.
Granville Golf Club
A scent of Scotland with views of Granville and the Channel Islands envelops this golf course, popular with amateurs and competitors worldwide. The 9-hole “Dunes” course beautifully overlooks the English Channel, while the 18-hole “Link” features evocative names like Panorama, Valley of Tears, The Judge, or The Tormented… A truly beautiful stroll 69 kilometers from our campsite.
Free for children under 12, Granville Golf Course offers Youth, Individual, and Couple rates ranging from €31 to €130 for 9 or 18 holes.
Cotentin Peninsula Golf Course
15 kilometers separate the campsite from the 18-hole Cotentin Peninsula Golf Course. Two 9-hole courses offer breathtaking views of Tatihou Island and a bucolic stroll through the heart of the Norman bocage.
Amateur and experienced players and their families appreciate the beauty of the location and the warm welcome of the clubhouse.
Green fees are available from €40 for 9 holes and €50 for 18 holes. A booklet of 5 green fees at a preferential rate is also available for both courses.
Centre Manche Golf Course
You’ll only have to travel 30 kilometers to tread the greens of this 9-hole golf course in the heart of the Cotentin Marsh Regional Park. Driving range, course, and a welcoming clubhouse are accessible to all and open year-round at Centre Manche Golf Course. 9-hole green fees are €25 for individuals and €40 for couples. An 18-hole course costs €35 to €60. There are interesting Youth and Student rates, and every Tuesday, purchasing an individual green fee grants a free round for your partner.
