If you are traveling by train, Carentan station is 16.5 km from Utah Beach campsite. It is served by regional trains on the line connecting Paris-Saint-Lazare, Caen, and Cherbourg.
To travel by plane, Caen-Carpiquet airport is the closest. It is less than an hour’s drive from Utah Beach campsite.
No local transport nearby. Only in CARENTAN, 15 km away. Supermarkets (Super U, Leclerc, Intermarché, Carrefour, etc.) are 16.5 km from Utah Beach campsite in the villages of Sainte Mère Eglise and Carentan

How to get to the Normandy campsite?
- To reach us by car from Caen, take the N13 towards Bayeux, and continue to Saint-Côme-du-Mont.
- At Saint-Côme, turn onto the D913 towards Sainte-Marie-Du-Mont, then towards the Utah Beach Landing Museum. Turn left at La Madeleine, drive about 500 m, then turn right towards the beach. Drive 400 m to reach the entrance of Normandy campsite.
- If you are coming from the A84 via Rennes, take exit 40 towards Cherbourg/Saint-Lô, then follow the N174 road towards Saint-Lô.
- Continue on the N174 after Saint-Lô, then take the N13 towards Cherbourg.
- Turn onto the D913 at Saint-Côme-du-Mont. Then follow the direction of Sainte-Marie-Du-Mont and the Utah Beach Landing Museum.
- Turn left at La Madeleine, drive about 500 m, then turn right towards the beach. Drive 400 m to reach the campsite entrance.
